The following set of images represents a large body of work that has been ongoing for several years. In many ways the theme is uncomplicated. Each images contains elements that are fragmented yet united through some commonality. Features that are divorced, nevertheless they rely on quiet links to additional references within the frame. These are interdependent units displaying joint narratives and histories. The occurring segregation and difference never creates hysterical signifiers, instead it produces connotations of harmony and acceptance, tolerance and understanding. The characters are split and divided but never at odds or with friction.
